The special issue “Transboundary catchment erosion and pollution” is a follow up of the international conference, which was held in Belgrade, Serbia, in July 2023 and organized by Geographical institute “Jovan Cvijić” SASA. The original review and research papers, dealing with water and sediment pollution and erosion problems in the World river catchments, including transboundary ones, with a special focus on Balkan region water and Central Asia, are invited.

The special issue will be published in the Geography Environment and Sustainability journal (Scopus CiteScore rating (Q2)). The publication is free of charge. There is a fast manuscript processing algorithm for this application.
