In line with the development of friendly international collaboration in ordnance with our shared purpose of establishing a long-term mutually beneficial partnership, the Geographical Institute "Jovan Cvijić" SASA in Belgrade and the University of Surrey in Guildford join in the Letter of intent.

Both parties agree to exercise their best efforts to cultivate the following forms of collaboration, such as staff mobility for teaching and research; joint research publications; and joint research grant applications. Moreover, both parties are dedicated to collaborating and leveraging each other’s expertise, technology, and insights to develop a vibrant international research network. Furthermore, this collaboration offers an opportunity to foster cross-cultural understanding and cultivate global connections within academic communities in Serbia and the UK.

The signing of the Agreement was attended by Dr. Milan Radovanović, director of the Geographical Institute "Jovan Cvijić" SASA, Dr. James Kennell, associate professor at the University of Surrey, Dr. Ana Milanović Pešić, Dr. Dunja Demirović Bajrami, Dr. Tamara Gajić and Dr. Marko D. Petrović, senior research associates at the Geographical Institute "Jovan Cvijić" SASA.
